About Tsitsikamma & Storms River Mouth
Tsitsikamma protects a narrow strip of ancient forest, fynbos and cliff coastline, together with a marine protected area offshore. The Storms River Mouth rest camp sits right at the water's edge at the end of the access road.
A boardwalk trail leads from the camp through the forest to the suspension bridges over the river mouth — the single most photographed spot in the park. Tsitsikamma is also the start of the Otter Trail, South Africa's best-known multi-day coastal hike.
